After purchasing several of WPDM add-ons and the pro version, I couldn't get it working well enough for me.
I've been a WPFB pro member for several years now, but I'm making the switch to Download Monitor with several of their paid add-ons https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-monitor/. (No tree view though.)
The biggest feature for me of WPFilebase was the Amazon Sync. I am finding that Download Monitor's AS3 & CSV Import addons makes it easy to import my AS3 file links and create the downloads in one step. Not as awesome as the WPFilebase AS3 Sync, but WAY better than starting from scratch one file at a time. Download Monitor also has an addon with search capabilities (called Page Addon).
