Hello -- it seems that I can only get the file list to display for a logged in admin user. I'm using shortcode to display a file list, and I have all categories & files set as available to user level "subscriber." [wpfilebase tag="browser" /] I've tried logging in as users of all other levels, and the list is not visible. Help, please?

Thank you for this plug in. I never had a problem with it. And maby this problem has to do with server configuration. But everything else is performing good.
When I am using the shortcode Icon in the Content Area to insert Shortcode, it want give me the Filebrowser to choose which Files I want to import.
I would realy aprechiate any hint on this problem. I checked the box for Late script loading in the settings. This seemed to fix some bugs in the frontend.

Since the latest update of filebase pro, my file tree is no more opening , I get this error :
[Error] XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://www.fly-different.fr/WordPress3/wp-content/plugins/wp-filebase-pro/wpfb-ajax.php. Origin http://fly-different.fr is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin. (librairie, line 0)
What can i do ? i tried to find many solution , but none are working ...

I see few posts about this and no solution - or am i missing something? :D I got the same issue: On the pages I have this:
[wpfilebase tag=list id=3,4,5,6,7,8 tpl=docdownloads pagenav=1 sort="<file_date" /]
OR
[wpfilebase tag=list id=35 sort=">file_date" tpl=thumbnail pagenav=1 num=25 /]
But the latest is always shown right at the end/bottom - even if I swap < and > or leave it out too. I would like the latest uploads to be at the top. This works with file / display names, etc.
What is incorrect for file_date?

Hi,
In the last week, the Filebase no longer works - we get the javascript error 'Forbidden' when trying to open it up. This is when logged in as an admin or any other user, and can therefore no longer use the filebase. All was working fine until recently. We have checked permissions, but this doesn't seem to be the issue.
Any help would be great!

I'm trying to figure out how I can give a user with editor role access to manage the WP-Filebase categories/folders. I'm using AAM (AAdvanced Access Manager) to manage roles & capabilities, but the only options AAM displays for the editor role are files and file browser. I need to give editor access only to WP-filebase files & categories, not full admin access. Any recommendations would be most appreciated! Thanks!

I get a database error then I´m useing the file-list widget.
"Database error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'DESC, "
Everything else works fine.

Hi out there,
i have exactly the same problem that siriusly discribed. In addition i tryed to set access rights for a file to "everyone" but the result was the same...i got the message, that i have not the sufficiend access rights if i am not logged in as Admin.
I found a post here in this forum from 3 years ago...where Fabi solved this problem with an small hack in File.php...

No answer to our question, it's too bad...
For complete information, I have implemented in my WP a fork in order to use the function sanitize_file_name which can clean the accentued characters in filenames. I put it in a mu-plugins and it works fine with the WP media gallery.
But it's still not working in WP-filebase and it is really annoying.
